Martha, her father and friend, Samantha, were all driving down the road (not long after it had stopped raining) to go pick up Martha's older brother, Jack, from a Boy Scout camping trip. Martha's dad was at the wheel, being a carful driving like he always. Martha and Samantha were in the back seats, entertaining themselves with the movie Jaws. All of the sudden, a small sports car came flying towards them, casing them to crash. The young man in the other car flew out of his windsheild and onto the opened top of his car. He was killed instantly due to Martha's car landing on top of him. Martha's dad suffered severe scaring and had broken both legs. Samantha had broken her tibia (leg) and almost popped her spline. Martha was attempted to resecitate, at no avail. Martha died that day. They say that her death was quick and painless. Her mother says that after the car hit them the air bag went off, but once they flipped they had already gone off and didn't help at all. The ironic part was that, like I said before, Martha and Samantha were in the back seat watching JAWS and it was at the suspenseful part were it goes 'dunununununu.' Her last words were "This sounds like a french horn."
The following Monday, a day after the event, was full of sorrow at our middle school. Barely anyone smiled, only at the good and wonderful memories of Martha and nothing else. Most of us still miss her to this very day and days to come. No, we may not show it all the time, but we still do miss her terribly. We were all sad, and still are, because one, Martha was obviously to young to be killed. And two, because she was going to be so sucessful in life. She loved, and absolutly LOVED, Joe Jonas from the Jonas Brothers. She had always said that when she turned fifteen, she would go to a JoBro concert, meet Joe and the two of them would run off and get married. She was determind to save the endangered species of polar bears and to also help our enviroment. She was smart, thoughtful and, of coursse, beatiful (inside and out). We will never forget her.
If you knew Martha and feel like joining this club, please send a note saying how you knew her. Then, can you please add us to your journal or signature so other fellow lovers of Martha will see us and join for her. Thank you.
